I quit my day job

I have been very fortunate to work with
outstanding designers and art directors
which has led to work being featured in such
publications as COMMUNICATION ARTS,
HOW, APPLIED ARTS, ARCHIVE and in
ADVERTISING TODAY by Phaidon Books.

I was the first photographer to completely sweep the
photography catagory of Vancouvers Lotus Awards
and am proud to have been the first photographer
to be awarded an actual Pencil in The One Show
by The One Show's Board of Directors
Getting the actual hardware was such a joy.
(I wonder where that thing is?)

I've won a Louie award for Greeting Card of the year,
and most recently best print campaign in the
Cellular Telephone Industry of America Marketing awards
for TAXI NYC's AMP'd Mobile campaign.
I also had the great honour of shooting an ad for McDonalds
Restaurants that was chosen as one of the the top 10 ads
ever produced by DDB on the occasion of their 50th anniversary
Proudly along side the classic VW "Lemon" ad

I love advertising. Minored in it in school when I still thought I was going to be an art photographer.

These days I have been finding great pleasure working with companies both big and small to put together extensive banks of images and video footage to help them to tell their stories to customers, investors and the public. It is wonderful to have people invite you into their world. To share their excitement and help to tell the rest of the world about it.

One of the things that I think has defined my work is that I never wanted my work to be defined by a particular style or "look".

That and the fact that I love to photograph people.

And I love to laugh.

And I love lighting.
